Youth Across Europe Invited to Join the FOODPrint Innovation Factory

The FOODPrint Innovation Factory brings together young people from across Europe to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for challenges within the food industry. Through research, collaboration, trainings, and idea pitching, participants will transform local sustainability challenges into real community-driven actions focused on food production, food waste, sustainable consumption, and environmental awareness. The initiative also encourages youth to connect internationally, exchange ideas, and turn creative concepts into impactful local projects.

Young People Explore Sustainable Food Practices Through FOODPrint Field Visits in North Macedonia

From 22 to 25 March 2026, the “Field Visits to FoodLabs” activity brought together young people from six countries to explore sustainable food production and learn directly from local producers and Slow Food farms in North Macedonia. Through workshops, market visits, and practical activities, participants also raised awareness about food waste and responsible food consumption.

FOODPrint Project Introduces Innovative EcoLabelling Tool to Promote Sustainable Food Choices

The FOODPrint project successfully developed and tested an innovative Eco-Labelling System that helps young people better understand the environmental and social impact of food products through a simple A–E sustainability grading scale. Implemented across six European countries, the initiative empowered youth to assess food products, raise awareness about sustainable consumption, and promote more informed consumer choices.

FOODPrint Transnational Project Meeting in Utrecht

On 28–29 August 2025, the partners of the FOODPrint Project gathered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, for a two-day Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) organized within the framework of the MasterPeace PWR UP Bootcamp 2025.
